We Won the Agentic Hack Rome
How we built Permesso Digitale and won first place at the Agentic Hack Rome at Urbe Hub.
We Won the Agentic Hack Rome
Today, together with Francesco Vincenti and Carlo Laurenti Argento, we took first place at the Agentic Hack Rome, hosted by Urbe Hub.
The Problem
If you've ever tried to open a restaurant in Italy, you know the pain. Permits from the municipality, health inspections from the ASL, fire safety certifications, SCIA filings, business plans. The process is fragmented, confusing, and mostly analog. There's no single place that tells you what to do, in what order, and how.
The Solution
We built Permesso Digitale, an AI-powered app that acts as your personal guide through the entire bureaucratic process of opening a restaurant in Rome.
The app features a conversational AI agent that walks you through every step: which permits you need, where to file them, what documents to prepare, and what to expect at each stage. It also includes a built-in business plan editor to help you get your finances in order before you even start.
The Stack
We built the entire app using Lovable, which let us go from zero to a working full-stack product during the hackathon. Supabase handles auth and data, and the AI agent is powered by a structured knowledge base covering all the relevant regulations for Rome.
What's Next
This is just the beginning. We're planning to add more features, cover more Italian cities, and keep improving the agent's knowledge base. Stay tuned.
